Chart notes
CRUMLIN BIRD showed speed from the outside, had a clear lead on the far turn and was kept to task through the stretch. HI HONEY was off the pace, gained ground on the far turn and from the five path at the top of the stretch finished well. SEAQUELLE was well back, closed the gap on the far turn and from the seven path at the top of the stretch was up for show. TANGERINE TWIST was away alertly and raced evenly on the far turn but from the six path at the top of the stretch needed more. SILENT BUT VIOLENT was in range and roused on the far turn but from the four path at the top of the stretch had no response. WICKEN CENTS was in touch and a factor on the far turn but dropped back through the stretch. OUR STORMY SOPHIA stalked the early leader but chased on the far turn and had nothing left. ONLY BELIEVE was hustled early but lost ground on the far turn and was empty. A CLAIM OF FOUL BY THE RIDER ON TANGERINE TWIST AGAINST SEAQUELLE FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH WAS NOT ALLOWED.
