Chart notes
KAYLA rated off the top trio up the backstretch, edged up closer three wide near the quarter pole, launched a bid for JUST LIKE TRISTA at the head of the lane, raced in striking distance a furlong out, dug in under firm handling and forged clear in the final sixteenth. JUST LIKE TRISTA set a pressured pace up the backstretch and held a slim advantage around the final turn, fought back under attack from KAYLA into the final furlong and failed to contain the winner late. NAUTICAL MISS was forwardly placed through middle stages, hustled along two to three wide into the drive and ran on for a share. BIT A BAD NEWS tracked the pace along the inside, saved ground into the lane and had no late response. FIREBAUGH raced four wide into the first turn, raced in the back and steadily faded. TROUBLE IN RED raced up close through the backstretch and came up empty near the quarter pole.
