Chart notes
GRANDE TORTUGON (CHI) tracked the pace, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, then made a steady gain and edged ahead late. DOM THE BOMB sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, drew off through the turn, then weakened late and was outfinished. DETANGLER never far back, moved up two and three wide through the turn, bid three wide into the lane and evened out. LET PEACE PREVAIL ran evenly, inside. MAKES GOOD SENSE checked for racing room after the start, passed a tiring rival in the lane. PEMAQUID PETE broke in at the start, was well placed and outside, then lost some ground through the turn and faded in the lane.
