Chart notes
EPIC (ARG) well placed and outside, angled in into the turn and rated inside, angled back out to come three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain and drew off late. COOPER'S CRESCENT rated close up in the early going, moved up to gain a short lead through the turn, stayed on and came again to edged back up for the place. PEANUTS PERFECTION set the pace just off the rail, stayed on when challenged through the turn, came again and shook clear into the stretch, then weakened late. FRED'S COUNTRY BOY well placed, lost some ground two and three wide through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and had no rally. CANDY MY BOY passed a tiring rival. BALK steadily lost ground.
