Chart notes
TRAVEL COLUMN tracked rival down the backstretch to the outside while racing two wide, had a narrow lead near the quarter pole, was confidently handled through the far turn into the stretch, was asked under a steady hand ride approaching the sixteenth pole and edge clear late. THUNDERING CREED was allowed to settle early on, made a good three wide bid nearing the quarter pole, shifted out four to five wide through the upper lane and kept on to be second best. LOVEMESOMEME showed good early speed to set the early pace weakened the final eighth of a mile while racing near the rail. PRINCESS OF CAIRO settled off the pace, moved four to five wide through the upper stretch and lacked a late rally. NEW ROO was allowed to settle early on, raced near the inside at the quarter pole, angled four wide never threatened. TIPSY GAL was unhurried in the early stages, raced near the inside and had no response.
