Chart notes
HIGH CRUISE away in good order, set a pressured pace along the inside, shook clear turning for home while in the two path and under a right handed crop, enough left to hold off the runner up in the waning strides. FREE INDEED lacked early foot, three wide out of the turn, set down, made a late push outside to be closing the gap on the winner. POST CLOSE broke back, raced in the second flight inside, continued to save ground into the lane, lacked a winning response late. COMMON LAW CAT pressed the winner from between horses for just over a half then weakened gradually through the stretch. GREELEY'S DEALER last away, trailed well back most of the way along the inside, never menace. DRIED PEPPER pressed the issue up the backstretch three wide, began to tire turn, four wide into the stretch, continued to back up.
