DROSSELMOON checked nearing the nine sixteenths when JUDICIAL MANDATE came over and horses got legs crossed up and rivals rider fell off, inherited the lead by the half mile marker, then drew clear on the turn on the inside, then drew out in the drive to prove best under a drive. RUN FAST steadied leaving the nine sixteenths to avoid the spill, chased the pace four wide on the turn, then won the battle for the place award. SCREEN STAR checked leaving the nine sixteenths to avoid the spill, then chased the pace three wide on the turn, then was outfinished for the place award. ELUSIVE JESTER chased the pace four wide on the turn and weakened. JUDICIAL MANDATE was away alertly, then came over leaving the nine sixteenths and crossed legs with the winner and stumbled and lost the rider, walked off. There was a STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the run to the half mile marker, after review the race was left as is.
