Chart notes
GOODIE GOOMER well placed, saved ground through the turns, angled three wide into the stretch, then drifted in and lasted under steady pressure. SUN DADDY unhurried in the early going, saved ground on the two path through the second turn, angled widest into the stretch, closed fast and missed. SUMMER PALACE allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, weakened late and held the show. WOODCHUCK tracked the pace well back, saved ground through the turns, came through inside of rivals into the stretch, angled out and faded. THE BLACK STRAT eased to the lead in the early going, drew off down the backstretch, held sway through the second turn, then faded in the lane.
