Chart notes
CARPENTERS CALL well placed and off the rail, moved up two and three wide through the second turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, shook clear, then drew off and was kept to the task. SURF AND TURF mid pack, gained position three wide through the second turn, bid on that path into the lane, made a steady gain and closed well for the place. GROUNDED sent from the gate, sprinted clear early, setting the pace inside, shook clear again through the second turn, stayed on when challenged into the stretch, then weakened the final furlong and held the show. I WANNA WIN stalked the pace on the outside, lost some ground on the two path through the second turn, came through on that path into the stretch and faded. PATRIOT DRIVE allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, came through on that path, angled out and faded. MISSIN THE BIG DOG was never involved.
