Chart notes
SMILING TEUFLES settled off the duel while racing three wide, closed determinedly through the lane and was up in deep stretch. JEOPARDY JAMES dueled outside of SCHOCHOH to midstretch, put that foe away leaving the eighth pole, drifted out under left-handed urging late and was collared in deep stretch. SPEARGUN had his head turned at the start, raced four wide and ran on to gain the show. SCHOCHOH dueled inside to midstretch and tired. JOE DI BAGGIO chased the pace inside and came up empty in the lane. OLD TIME REVIVAL played no factor while racing three wide.
