COWBOY AT HEART exchanged contact with ELVIRUS leaving the gate then closed to contention and took the lead two deep at the seven sixteenths pole, dueled clear of Tweet This approaching the quarter pole, rounded the far turn at the rail and was steadily handled through the lane. ELVIRUS exchanged contact with Cowboy At Heart leaving the gate and rounded the opening turn about the four path, picked up the chase nearing the three eighths pole, raced off the rail on the far turn and dug in under steady handling to take second the final yards. TWEET THIS rated close inside on the first turn, picked up the chase leaving the three eighths pole, contested at a close disavantage off the rail on the far turn, was steadily encouraged leaving the turn but ceded second in the final strides and just lasted for third. LET US MAKE GOLD ducked in and made contact with Elvirus leaving the gate then saved ground, gave chase leaving the seven sixteenths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn, angled to the four path toward the head of the lane, raced evenly through the lane and just missed third. J J WEDGIT MAN veered out leaving the gate and settled in the three and four paths of the opening turn, gave chase nearing the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the far turn about the four path and showed little in the lane. STRETCH THE TRUTH set the early pace inside, was caught at the seven sixteenths pole and raced close from that point, but dropped back at the rail nearing the quarter pole and faded readily on the far turn.
