Chart notes
ECONOMIC POWER was well placed early on the inside, then came through on the inside to vie for command by the half mile marker, then drew clear on the turn and drew off in the stretch to prove much the best, driving. SPEEDY ZEPHYR stalked the early pace in between horses, then checked hard nearing the eleven sixteenths, then was four to five wide on the far turn, angled in leaving the three sixteenths and was up for the place. SECOND LINE DAVID was four wide into the first turn, pressed the pace between horses five to four wide, then weakened, lost place award late. HAPPY GUY stalked the early pace and then pressed the pace three to four wide and in between rivals and tired. ORASHI was five wide into the first turn, then pressed the pace five to six wide on the backstretch and tired.
