Chart notes
BIG PAPER DADDY vied for the early lead racing slightly removed the the rail in hand, shook clear when ready and maintained a safe advantage. BRANNIGAN saved ground after breaking a step slow, moved up to offer a bid nearing the quarter pole, could not reach the winner, but was clearly second best. MUSIC ICON prompted the pace while racing three-wide to the stretch and weakened slightly during the drive. WHISPER AND WINK was carried out slightly at the start, then was unhurried, came two-wide into the stretch but failed to seriously threaten. LIGHTNING STAR was bumped at the start by Attorney Louis, then was forwardly place to near the stretch but lacked a rally. ATTORNEY LOUIS broke out to bump Lightning Star at the start, then was hard held to be reserved off the early pace while three-wide and gave way after six furlongs.
