Chart notes
NEW EVERY MORNING sprinted clear early, set the pace racing slightly off the rail and maintained a clear advantage. NOT BY MIGHT stalked the pace while racing two-wide- angled out slightly during the drive, could not reach the winner, but finished well for the place. DIAMOND WILLOW hopped in the air at the start, then was unhurried early, rallied along the inside and finished fast. LINCHTOWN was forwardly placed while racing three-wide, offered a bid entering the stretch and then hung. J C EXPRESS dropped back early and failed to threaten. LAGO DE ORO raced four-wide and weakened.
