PRESIDENT Z vied between rivals into and around the turn, got brushed early on the turn, inched ahead in the lane, carried a short lead into the final sixteenth and held on. WIZARD OF WESTWOOD vied for command three deep, got brushed from inside early on the turn, fought outside PRESIDENT Z through the lane, drifted out a bit near the eighth pole, dug in late and got up at the wire to share the victory. ODONATA went up contest the pace from inside, drifted a bit and brushed rival early on the turn, fought on to the stretch, could not keep up with three-sixteenths remaining but stayed on for a clear third. GIOVINAZZO stalked the top trio up the backstretch, came four wide into the lane and lacked a rally. ROAD OF LOVE broke a step slow, trailed early on, chased two wide into the lane and failed to make an impact.
