Chart notes
OGRE'S LION KING led or vied for the lead from the inside through the final turn and gave way. MIDNIGHT OIL tracked the leaders from the two path to final turn move out to four wide but was empty. CLASSY SHIPMAN broke to the outside and brushed LITTLE FRAPPUCINO at the break, led or vied for the lead from the two path to the final turn and fought gamely to the wire. LITTLE FRAPPUCINO was brushed at the start by CLASSY SHIPMAN, raced near the back given an even effort. MOONSHINE SURFER was pushed out at the break, then was unhurried throughout and was never a threat. ALLIGATOR CRAWL was in the middle of the pack from the inside to upper stretch then angled out before the eighth pole and closed willingly to draw off. GOLD PRIZE was forwardly placed just off the pace in the three path made a bid in upper stretch to take a narrow lead and dueled to the wire outside of CLASSY SHIPMAN and held place. CURLIN EDGES was in the six path going into the first turn then settled back in the two path but was never a factor.
