Chart notes
ROLLIN CHROME tracked the pace while four wide, was gaining on the turn to menace in the stretch, dueled with an inside rival in the final sixteenth and was up at the wire by a head bob to prevail. CANADA'S CUSTOMS chased the leaders while three wide then moved up on the turn to take command coming into the stretch, then continued to rally gamely but missed by a head bob in the end. DUTCH TREAT was unhurried early then swung out five wide in upper stretch to closed belatedly but it was not enough. APPRECIABLE vied for the lead while three wide was in a steady drive on the turn to rally coming into the stretch then flattened out in the end. INTO CLASSIC was unhurried early then made a mild bid while two wide on the turn but was no threat. BEBOP BABY vied for the lead from the inside, was hard used coming into the stretch and stopped. MIZONEY vied for the lead while two wide then dropped back on the turn and never fired.
