Chart notes
BEST TIME chased the pace while four wide, was saving ground on the back stretch to bid on the turn then continued to dig in gamely down the stretch and was up just in time. SCREENPLAY set the pace while in the two path, was in a long drive to clear the far turn then dueled with an outside rival briefly in the final furlong and was caught at the wire. DOC IRWIN was unhurried early then was gaining six wide on the turn to close willingly in the stretch drive and was up for the show prize. SCHMOOZE was unhurried early to rally five wide on the turn and was closing strong down the stretch and was caught for third place. COST AVERAGE raced while two wide to bid four wide in upper stretch but was no threat. GENOMIC was unhurried early then bid mildly along the rail in the stretch but was no factor. AMERICAN NIGHTMARE pressed the leader from the inside, was in a hard drive coming into the stretch and weakened. G VICTORY chased the pace while three wide on the backstretch then faded coming into the far turn and was no menace. OKLAHOMA HEAT chased the pace while three wide then dropped back on the turn and failed to rally.
