Chart notes
JW'S THIRD MISCHIE controlled the pace inside, shook loose on the turn and proved much the best. COMMISSIONER G trailed for half a mile then closed strongly too late. HIDDEN PROMISE raced in closest pursuit of the pacesetter and continued gamely. TOWN JAK settled inside the pacesetters then proved empty in the stretch. MACH TRIAL prompted the pace three wide early then began fading on the turn. FOREST FIRE dropped back early outside and steadily faded.
