Chart notes
GRAND DEAL slow early, closed with a rush four wide through the stretch and was along in time. DAWN WEST was bumped at the start, settled well back, closed fast along the rail, made the lead at the top of the stretch then couldn't handle the late charge of the winner. TONKAWA SPRINGS outrun early, closed rapidly between horses two wide through deep stretch. NIGHT TIME RULER stalked the pace into the far turn, rallied three wide to make the lead briefly past the quarter pole then was outfinished. CHACO SPIRIT bore out at the start bumping rivals, prompted the pace two wide into the stretch then faded. AMES MISTER sped to the lead soon after the start, set the pace for a little over six furlongs then was used up. MUNDO MIX was bumped at the start, vied for the lead three wide for a half, stopped abruptly on the far turn, was pulled up and walked off.
