Chart notes
LADY DEMAREE vied for the lead four wide through the turn, moved clear into the lane, widened to the eighth pole and held while finishing in the four path. AN APPLE A DAY settled off the early pace along the inside, moved up near the rail, waited from the five sixteenths pole to the quarter pole along the inside, got clear into the lane, took aim on the clear leader then chased that one home to be clearly second best. MAGGIE E vied from the inside of three others through the turn, could not go with the top two but stayed on to finish clear for the show spot. C R'S GIRL vied for the lead two wide and between rivals into mid-turn, chased the pace into the lane then tired. CALYPSO STREET trailed the field while in the three path through the turn, came into the lane from the six path and moved up a couple while never a menace. RAP STAR never a factor while in the three path through the turn. HEAVENLY SCENT vied for the early while three wide and between rivals and was empty in late turn.
