Chart notes

GRAB THE GOLD set the early pace on the inside while clear, then was headed leaving the quarter pole, then was passed nearing the furlong marker and then was resurgent late to edge clear under a drive. KITTEN'S SOLUTION tracked the early pace, made a three wide bid to go on even terms leaving the turn, then poked a head in front at the furlong marker but hung late, clearly second best. SPIKES SHIRL chased the pace on the inside and lacked the needed winning bid, even effort. HASHTAG WINNING was reserved early and lacked a rally while saving ground. COMMISSIONER BIGGS was rated along four wide and had no response.
