SHOW SLIDING HOME broke a step slow, was unhurried, closed with a burst of speed three wide into the stretch, made the lead past the furlong marker and drew clear under a strong hand ride. EL MEZCALITO pressed the pace three wide through the turn, made the lead then was no match for the winner. GRAND STRATEGY settled outside, offered a mild bid into the stretch then leveled off in the five path. KOLE MAN CAN failed to menace. PLATE IT UP passed tiring rivals. WHO CAN WIN prompted the pace along the rail into the stretch then weakened. POWERS OUT set a pressured pace two wide through the turn then was used up.
