Chart notes
FANELLI chased and rounded the turn in the four and five paths, left the turn seven wide and dug in under steady stretch handling to take the nod the final jump. TANELEER took the lead near the three eighths pole and set a pressured pace, contested the advantage near the rail on the turn, dug in under steady handling leaving the turn but was nipped under the wire. DINNER BELL engaged in close chase through the backstretch, rounded the turn about the five path, finished well and just missed second. LET ME FINISH chased, rounded the turn near the rail, eased outward toward the head of the lane, closed well to deep stretch but steadied nearing the wire. BUSHIDO'S WAY steadied at the start then angled to the outside to give chase, rounded the turn about the ten path and closed well widest. HOLIDAY AVENUE gave chase, rounded the turn about the six path and ran evenly in the lane. SMELLSLIKEMONEY chased inside, ran at the rail on the turn, raced close into the lane but flattened later yards. BALTIMORE BUD chased through the backstretch, raced close in the three path of the turn but flattened inside the sixteenth pole. NOW I'M BROKE chased outside, rounded the turn about the nine path then flattened the final sixteenth.
