Chart notes
HOT CAROL steadied at the start then pressed the pace leaving the three eighths pole, dueled between horses nearing the quarter pole, took the nod midway on the turn, drew clear mid-stretch then widened later yards. FESSIN UP gave chase inside, ran at the rail on the turn, eased four wide into the stretch and closed for second late yards. JESS FOR KICKS was hustled to the front leaving the half mile pole and rated the early pace, came under pressure from the three eighths pole, dug in past the five sixteenths and raced close at the rail on the turn then flattened the final sixteenth. HURRICANE DIRECTOR pressured the pace from the three eighths pole, raced close three wide on the turn then flattened in the lane. PRINCESS MIA ROSE gave chase, rounded the turn about the five path and showed little in the lane. BANTAM ROOSTER gave chase inside, ran at the rail on the turn and proved empty in the lane. SHE'S A BIRDIE gave chase and ran off the rail on the turn. CRISPY GAL showed little speed. LA REINA SUSAN engaged in close chase from the seven sixteenths pole but weakened in the four path of the turn.
