DEEP STATE raced back early on, was in the three path into the lane, rallied down the lane and ran down the leader in the final stages. OLD HICKORY stalked the pace early from the inside, took over command nearing the lane, was on the inside into the lane, inched clear in the stretch but was ran down in the final stages. HE'S A ANGEL pressed the pace early two wide, was in the four path into the lane and weakened late in the stretch run. SHOGUN WARRIOR chased the pace early, was in the six path into the lane while making a bid but flattened out late in the stretch drive.
