Chart notes
MORGAN COUNTY closed to the front three wide approaching the five sixteenths pole, inched clear nearing the head of the lane and was steadily handled in the lane. ROCKET SOUND raced with the pace between horses, cleared second past the eighth pole and finished well. BELMULLET raced with the pace and ran close four wide on the turn, then just lasted for third. BANNER MAN chased, rounded the turn in the three and four paths and raced evenly in the lane. BOOZYMILKSHAKEBAR chased the early pace inside then faded while losing ground on the turn. HINK'S PALADIN steadied at the start, angled to the outside to give chase and showed little in the lane. EASTBOUND N DOWN was hustled to brief early lead nearing the seven sixteenths pole, gave chase from the five sixteenths, remained close at the rail on the turn then weakened.
