AL LOVES JOSIE was sent to the front early, set pace towards the inside, maintained the lead through the turn, responded when asked soon into the lane and held firm while kept to a drive. BERKS stalked the pace three wide, was put to pressure around the turn, kept on willingly and gained the place through the final furlong. BACKNTHEWOODS had speed to the inside of the winner, stalked around the turn and kept trying to wire. SUGAR GRAY LEONARD raced inside early, bumped with MOSE PERFECT and steadied near the half mile pole, angled out entering the lane and had a mild response. MOSE PERFECT raced between horses early, bumped with SUGAR GRAY LEONARD near the half mile marker and failed to respond. GALLANT GOLD , four wide, dropped back around the turn.
