Chart notes
SLEW'S TIZ WHIZ saved ground stalking the dueling leaders, angled out three-wide nearing the three-sixteenths pole, split rivals, took the lead leaving the eighth pole and drew clear. FANTASTIC DAY was prominent from the start while racing four-wide, responded to pressure and finished well for the place. TAKE CHARGE DEPUTY dueled with El Alto Hombre for the lead from along the outside into the stretch and held on fairly well during the drive. EL ALTO HOMBRE bobbled at the start, then moved up to duel for the lead from along the inside into the stretch and weakened. WHEEL RALLY for the the pace from between horses while racing three-wide for a half mile and tired.
