Chart notes
IDA NEEDA DRINK got brushed from behind early then went up to duel for command from outside, cleared rivals from both sides in upper stretch, then widened under right-handed urging and steady handling. LADY AUDUBON went up to duel inside the winner for command, lost touch with IDA NEEDA DRINK in upper stretch and stayed on to hold second. FOREST ACCLAMATION was forced to check between rivals early, gained ground while angling outside the top pair around the turn, lugged out at the three-sixteenths pole, got straightened away and kept on for the show. THIRSTY THOUGHTS chased three wide into the turn, exited the bend four wide, drifted inward through the lane and lacked a bid. SMILING PRINCESS was off slow and broke inward, went two then three wide on the turn, moved out in the lane and never responded to urging. WE WANT ANOTHER broke a bit slow and lost his path at the start, saved ground through the turn and failed to menace.
