Chart notes
ORISSA was shuffled back leaving the break and was off slowly, chased the solid pace to the turn, gained ground inside of rivals nearing the quarter marker, advanced to vie for the lead in mid-stretch and showed a good late kick to prevail in the final stages. PERFECTLY JULIE tracked the early solid fractions, gained ground from a three wide path to vie for the lead nearing the quarter pole, battled with REDSTWIRLINGDANCER into upper stretch, was confronted by ORISSA nearing the furlong grounds and was outkicked by the winner in the final stages, while besting the rest. REDSTWIRLINGDANCER broke alertly and sped to a clear early lead approaching the turn, set quick fractions through the turn, was confronted by PERFECTLY JULIE nearing the quarter pole, met that bid and dueled to mid-stretch, could not match strides with the top two in the final furlong and gave way late, while holding safely for third. EXQUISITE LEGACY chased the early pace from the back, lost contact on the turn, the rider lost his crop at the top of the lane and was unable to offer a late rally.
