Chart notes
LIGHTNING CHARLIE set the early pace off the rail, shook clear and angled in down the backstretch, then drew off in the stretch and was kept to the task. YOUMUSTBEA WEASLEY well placed inside, angled out down the backstretch, held position on the two path through the second turn, fanned four wide into the stretch, then could not threaten the winner and held the place. BLUNDER allowed to settle, moved up on the two path through the second turn, came through inside of rival into the stretch, angled out for racing room, then weakened late and held the show. HOFBURG PALACE tracked the pace, raced boxed through the second turn, angled three wide when clear into the stretch, then weakened the final furlong. AMBUSHED well placed and outside, held position three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, then drifted in and faded. PIZZA CHARLIE was no factor.
