ALPHA PREDATOR allowed to settle, moved up inside through the second turn, angled out three wide into the stretch, made a steady gain, edged ahead at the furlong marker, then drew off and was kept to the task. SPORTINI mid pack, gained position inside through the second turn, angled out to bid outside the leader into the stretch, gained a short lead, then was no match for the winner and held the place. BIG FRANK well placed and outside, gained position three wide through the second turn, came four wide into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick and missed the place. BOURBON BROWN sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, held sway to the final furlong, then weakened and held a share. DOMINANT FACTOR passed a tiring rival. GENERALONAMISSION well placed and inside, faded after half.
