Chart notes
JACOHARE led in the two path then inside, repelled challenges, moved clear again and lasted while kept to a drive. MALIBU STAR dropped far behind inside, angled out rallying on the final turn then rallied strongly too late. HARD STING trailed far behind, advanced into the stretch, was bumped in midstretch and finished well. MR. ROUNDTREE reserved well behind, was bumped in midstretch then flattened out. SUPER JOHN prompted the pace outside for three quarters and faded. MIDLANER made a menacing wide move on the final turn then gave way in the stretch. FLIMFLAM MAN forced the pace along the rail for half a mile and retreated.
