HANNIGAN dueled outside early, dueled inside turn, exchanged numerous bumps with outside rival DEVIL EYED DEXTER in late turn, took a short lead passing the eighth pole, drew out from mid stretch. FLAT OUT LEADER dueled inside early, stalked duel turn, rallied for place. WE NEED V L TS PLZ saved ground, rallied off rail. CHICAGO ROLL trailed to stretch, advanced inside. SPICY WITT stalked forced pace outside, rallied belatedly. DEVIL EYED DEXTER advanced to duel outside into the turn, bumping in late turn with the winner, made a bid to mid stretch before tiring. The trainer of DEVIL EYED DEXTER lodged a claim of foul against the rider of HANNIGAN for interference in late turn. THere was no change.
