ARTHUR'S HOPE set the pace from inside, was roused from the two path at the top of the lane, and drew clear. SPANKHURST stalked from the two path, saved ground rounding the turn, tipped two wide at the top of the lane, and ran on. COUNTY FINAL pressed while two wide, continued to race two wide around the turn, tipped three wide at the top of the lane, ran on but lost a place duel to show. PAYNE rated from the three path and was no factor. NEW COMMISSION was slow to start and trailed throughout.
