Chart notes
HAPPILEA pressed the pace two wide into the stretch, made the lead and quickly shook clear, drifted out late, dug in while well handled and proved best. NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY stalked the early pace, rallied outside the winner into the stretch and was denied while in the middle of the racetrack. GOOD IDEA broke in front then quickly dropped back to trailed through the turn then rallied late along the rail. LAUTREC allowed to settle, swung wide and closed some ground late mid track. GRANDGRAN had inside speed through the turn then gave way. VOLBEAT sped to the lead soon after the start, set a pressured pace to the top of the stretch then was used up. THE RIDER OF NEWYEARSBLOCKPARTY LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE THROUGH THE STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
