MONTAUK COVE drifted out for several strides after the start, chased the leader into the stretch, drifted to the six path, surged under left handed urging and got up in the final strides. THE COOKIE MAN broke well, set the pace until deep stretch and was caught in the final stages. RULING EMPIRE went evenly. KOSCIUSZKO failed to menace.
