Chart notes
SIR DEPUTY stalked the pace while racing three-wide, moved up to offer a bid entering the stretch and finished strongly to be up in the final sixteenth and won going away. NORTHWEST RAIN saved ground setting the pressured pace, opened clear entering the stretch but was unable to resist the winner late. THE METAL MAN disputed the pace while racing along the outside, dropped back slightly entering the stretch and was unable to stay with the top two late. CANDIED LUTE raced three-wide on the turn, angled in for the drive and finished in a mile rally. COMMAND SGT MAJOR was bumped at the start by Marque It Up, then was unhurried, swung out to be five-wide the final quarter mile and failed to threaten. MARQUE IT UP bobbled at the start and came in to bump Command Sgt Major, then was forwardly placed along the inside for a half mile and gave way.
