Chart notes
PREMIERE CHOICE accelerated to the early lead, set the pace along the rail and lasted under brisk urging. TAUBER , rank inside horses entering the turn, hugged the inner rail on the turn and in upper stretch, eased out inside the eighth pole and closed outside the winner. MONSTER MASON saved ground around the turn, eased off the rail in upper stretch and lacked the necessary late response. BY THE SEY SHORE lacked speed, worked between horses in the stretch and passed tired ones. CRABS N BEER , in the two path chasing the pace around the turn, gave way in upper stretch. PRINCE PERE , four deep on the turn, gave way. SUE LOVES BARBADOS , bumped leaving the starting gate, raced in the three path on the turn and failed to be a factor. SEVEN ON THE ROCKS , outrun, swung to the five path in mid stretch.
