SECRET HOLIDAY broke outwardly at the start then vied for the lead while two deep, gained the short lead at the top of the turn, was challenged from the outside but kept the lead coming into upper stretch, then dueled with an outside rival and was up by a head bob to win. KENTUCKY BOURBON chased the pace while two wide, was gaining ground quickly on the turn to menace in the stretch then dueled with an inner rival in the final furlong but lost in the end by a head bob. I'M A COOL CAT vied for the lead while three wide, was in a hard drive coming into the home stretch but was passed by an outside rival and gave way for the place prize. TENTH OF GOLD settled along the inside then rallied coming into the lane and was closing willingly but was no threat. CUNNING was unhurried early to bid five wide on the turn but was no threat. AFFRAY vied for the lead from the inside then dropped back slightly to bid three wide on the turn into the stretch but weakened in the end. HEMPSTEAD was unhurried early and failed to rally. There was a STEWARD'S INQUIRY and JOCKEY'S OBJECTION following the race. The rider of KENTUCKY BOURBON claimed foul against the rider of SECRET HOLIDAY for alleged interference in the stretch drive. After reviewing the replay, no change was made to the order of finish.
