JOHN ALLEN stalked the front runner from a wide stance, advanced to be on even terms at upper stretch, and surged in final sixteenth for the score. KID SLIPPER trekked the two path from outset, gained sole command along the backstretch, was on even terms at upper stretch, then was unable to fend off the late charge of rival and forced to settle for the place. VICTORY STRIPE was unhurried in the early going, established a grond saving stance, closed gap on pacesetter along the backstretch, rated close up at upper stretch s the inner rival of three, then was outfinished in final furlong. MORO CHARLIE rushed from outset to lead the field through the opening bend, was headed along the backstretch and eclipsed thereafter.
