Chart notes
ALTERNATE NIGHTS raced in mid-pack while saving ground through the far turn, came into the lane from the four path, slowly gained to the sixteenth pole then surged late and just got up. VENICE BEACH vied for the lead while two wide through the turn and into the lane, shook off challenger outside the eighth pole, continued clear inside the sixteenth pole and just got caught. MUSTY RED vied for the lead along the inside through the turn, yielded to the winner after straightening in the lane then stayed on well to be clear for the show spot. OVERJOY chased the pace from the four path through the turns, came into the lane from the five path with aim on the top ones then lacked a closing kick. JUST PHIL was in the two or three path through the far turn, came into the lane from the four path and never was a threat. EVEN MONEY never a factor while near the rail through the far turn. RED LIAISON chased the two rival duel down the backstretch and was done entering the far turn. MIGHTY CONTENDER was last away and outrun while in the two path.
