Chart notes
NATE'S WAY dueled for the lead on the outside, made a three to four wide bid by the quarter pole, then dug in by the sixteenth pole and edged away late to prove b est, driving. MAXI MOON was allowed to settle early, came three wide into the lane and rallied well towards the inside to gain the place award. TACTICAL PRIORITY stalked the early pace and made a four wide bid by the quarter pole and loomed boldly by the furlong marker but flattened out late. HAWKWOOD was reserved early, came five wide into the lane and had a belated rally. REECE'S PRIORITY dueled for the lead on the inside and weakened in the drive. RECKLESS RANSOM was on the inside and not a factor. PER RULING #25050 FROM THE LOUISIANA RACING COMMISSION, NATE'S WAY WAS DISQUALIFIED FROM 1st TO UNPLACED DUE TO A POSITIVE TEST.
