Chart notes
CUTLER away alertly, set a pressured pace into the stretch then shook clear in the five path under brisk handling. FRONTLINER stalked the pace four wide into the stretch, angled in through the final stages and finished well clear for second. WIZARD WILLIE pressured the winner two wide into the stretch then faded. SPINSTER ROAD failed to menace. SMOKIN HOT ENERGY turned his head as the gate opened and was no factor. IMPERIAL BREW trailed then swung wide to avoided a rival in distress turning for home losing ground. FREDDY SOTO vied for lead the lead three wide past the quarter pole, suffered and injury, was quickly pulled up entering the stretch and vanned off.
