STRONG BELIEF trailed early, advanced outside, finished well, took over late. MAJOR SHEPARD stalked off rail, challenged outside into stretch, dueled, shook duel rival after passing sixteenth pole, couldn't hold off the winner late. RUNAWAY HURRICANE, bumped at the break by STORMY SUMMIT when that one veered in, saved ground, challenged along the rail into the stretch, dueled, gave way after passing the sixteenth pole. CALL THE COPS, well placed outside, took over early on the final turn, opened up, gave way between horses in early stretch. BETTERMAKETHATTWO stumbled at the break and was bumped by RUNAWAY HURRICANE as part of the chain reaction caused by STORMY SUMMIT, stalked between horses, remained well placed into the final turn, tired. STORMY SUMMIT veered in at the break, bumped RUNAWAY HURRICANE, opened up, gave way early on the final turn. KITON showed little.
