V. I. P. CODE , traveled three wide first turn, four wide stalking backside, was sent five wide nearing the quarter pole, continued down the middle of the lane, won driving. PETULANT DELIGHT , fought the rider heading to the first turn, found nice two wide stalking position, asked for best run nearing the quarter pole, took over briefly, could not hold off rival finished willingly. UNION LEADER away from the gate last, raced well off the rail down the backside, angled out on the turn when asked for run, flattened through the lane. TITAN'S WILL , moved into the lead soon after the start, stayed on as the leader till nearing the quarter pole came under pressure from the outside, could not quicken with rival, faded stretch. TAPPIN FOR GLORY , settled off the early pace, moved up along the inside, urged for run mid way on the turn, failed to quicken, weakened stretch.
