Chart notes
TWIRLING MAMBA well placed and inside, held position through the turn, angled out into the stretch, then closed well late and drove clear. PETIT VERDOT well placed and outside, gained a striking position on the two path through the turn, bid outside the leader into the stretch, then lacked the needed late kick. GINS AND TINS mid pack, moved up on the two path through the turn, bid on that path into the lane, angled out and gained the show. ZOOMBIE unhurried in the early going, moved up three wide through the turn, came four wide into the stretch and edged up for a share. WHERE YOU WAS mid pack, saved ground on the two path through the turn, came three wide into the stretch and evened out. LIFE MISSION sprinted to a clear lead soon after the start, stayed on when challenged through the turn, then faded the final furlong. SUMMERFEST was never involved.
