Chart notes
ROCKET J. took an immediate lead and rated the pace inside, came under pressure leaving the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn and was steadily handled in the lane. GOLDEN METTLE saved ground off the pace, bid leaving the seven sixteenths pole, rounded the turn about the three path, left the turn four wide, dug in for second later yards and was gaining on the winner. TAXIT rounded the first turn in the three path, bid nearing the three eighths pole, came through the far turn in the three path and dueled through the stretch to earn the nod for third. GHOST MINE saved ground on the opening turn, picked up the chase from the three eighths pole, ran at the rail on the far turn then missed the nod in the stretch duel for third. KID GENIUS rounded the opening turn about the three path, picked up the chase toward the three eighths pole, ran off the rail on the far turn then flattened inside the eighth pole. DON'TCALLTOOEARLY showed little response through the backstretch and ran in the four path of the far turn. READY FOR CLASS saved early ground. JUBA'S YANKEE ONE steadied leaving the gate, raced off the rail on the opening turn then gave way leaving the three eighths pole.
