Chart notes
SWEET EMPIRE dueled for the lead along the inside into the stretch, shook clear and prevailed under strong handling. SWEET BETTY JOYCE never far back, rallied late in the five path and got up for second. HERE COMES JIGS trailed into the turn, swung wide then closed with a rush outside in the six path. SWINDLE battled with the winner two wide into the stretch then weakened late along the rail. BISCAYNE BAY close up from the start, moved closer along the rail into the stretch, altered course to the four path before the furlong marker then faded. EASTER PRIDE unhurried early, improved position along the rail into the stretch then came up empty. GRAZIA WHO pressed the pace three wide and was through after a half. DOUBLE D'S REVENGE was through early.
